Black physicists have been and will continue to make history with their professional and social accomplishments. Each February, the National Society of Black Physicists honors Black scientists and engineers that have and continue to make history with their committment to excellence. Every day in February, we feature one scientist that has made a profound impact on the world of science and technology.

It is our hope that these profiles honor those scientists whose inspired research blazed a trail and inspired current Blach physicists, inform the world about the present day Black scientists that are at the forefront of scientific endeavor, and inspire future generations of Black scientists and engineers to know that they have a rich heritage of excellence in the field of physics.

Please check out the profiles done in February 2017 and February 2018.
