Physics Diversity Summit

Purpose
The Physics Diversity Summit is intended to bring together key stakeholders in the US physics enterprise and consider some of the policy issues impacting the drive to bring about a diverse physics workforce.

Expected Outcome
Construction of a coalition of university, corporate, government and professional society partners to advocate for effective policies, programs and practices to achieve a diverse physics workforce.

* Join us for lunch briefings on Capitol Hill. Topics will include,
      - No Child Left Behind, Diversity and Access to K-12 Physics
      - Maximizing Federal STEM Investments for a Diverse Workforce
      - Role of Corporate Leadership in Physics Workforce Diversity

* Attendees will include physics department chairs, professional society leaders,
federal program officers, corporate leaders, and Congressional staff leaders

* Meet new collaborators and recruit your next employee at the Joint Annual Conference
of the National Society of Black Physicists and National Society of Hispanic Physicists. Opening reception starts after the summit at 6:30pm at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
