NSBP member, Stephon Alexander, wins 2013 APS Edward Bouchet Award

For his contributions to theoretical cosmology, in particular the interface between fundamental physics and early universe cosmology, that includes work in leptogenesis, and parity violating effects in quantum gravity, as well as for communicating many ideas of this field to the scientific community and the public, Dr. Stephon Alexander, has received the 2013 American Physical Society Edward A. Bouchet AwardDr. Alexander is the Ernest Everett Just 1907 Professor at Dartmouth College.  Besides being an accomplished physicist, he is a prodigious jazz saxophonist.
