Add an Event

National Society of Black Physicists will  post the following kinds of events: graduate school and job recruiting fairs, departmental seminars and colloquia, MS and Ph.D. thesis defenses of NSBP members, physics related conferences, schools, workshops, and mini-courses, and important deadlines for physics-related prizes, awards, fellowships and scholarships.

Postings are free of charge, but subject to review and approval.

If you already have a user account for our website you can always use your account to post a new event
Already have an NSBP website user account?  Log in now 

If you do not already have an NSBP website user account  you must first create one to post an event.

After creating your account you will immediately and automatically be sent an email to verify your user information.  There will be a link in the email to activate your account.  

After activating your account you can sign-on and add a jobs by going to either the 'Calendar' module or the 'Add Content' module.  In either module you will see an 'Add an Event' link.

Posting an event on the NSBP jobs board, step by step directions

1. Create a new user account on our website if you do not already have one
   
2. Verify your account information by clicking on the link in the email that will be automatically be sent to the address you provide
3. Activate and sign-on to your account
4. Locate the 'Add Content' or 'Calendar' module in your user account
5. Complete the event data form
6. Look for your posting in less than 1 hour during business hours, or less than 12 hours otherwise.
